Summary


The Communications Manager will play a pivotal role in enhancing Mosser Group’s brand, communication, and marketing efforts. A key objective of this position will be to support the Marketing and Business Development team in crafting clear, impactful, professional marketing materials to drive business growth and enhance the company's market position. It is worth noting that there will be a significant focus on our internal brand and recruitment over the coming years due to industry-wide demand.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead the planning, creation, and distribution of content across various platforms, including websites, social media, and marketing materials, to effectively communicate The Mosser Group’s service offerings, differentiators, and approaches to target markets.
  • Assist with the development and execution of recruiting brand and messaging for key positions within the company working alongside HR and consultants.
  • Maintain the Corporate Content Calendar for long-term communications planning.
  • Create content to support the proposal process and the business development team by developing effective tactics for presentations, proposal content, and other marketing materials that align with the sales strategy.
  • Support the Leadership Team’s internal communications, including the distribution of newsletters and updates through the company intranet. Actively ensure that key messaging aligns with company goals and is consistent across internal channels.
  • Monitor industry-related online media outlets and facilitate appropriate communication efforts in response to relevant news or trends.
  • Monitor and respond appropriately to social network inquiries and comments.
  • Write press releases for significant milestones for noteworthy projects, team member promotions, industry innovations on projects, etc.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:
  • Proficient or willing to become proficient at Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign.
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with technical writing, AP style, and producing materials that align with industry standards.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling messaging for various audiences.
  • Can demonstrate an ability to write and edit articles, publications, and other materials, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with company brand and voice.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. Confident in leading communication strategy discussions with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while ensuring high-quality output.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing, communications, journalism or a related field, ideally within the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to complete management tasks on a construction site as necessary.
  • The position requires flexibility in working across multiple platforms, collaborating with a variety of teams, and sometimes working in office settings or on-site at construction locations.
