Culture
Our Mission
It is our culture and expertise that gets projects through the finish line.
At Mosser, we know every facet of a project, from the time it’s just a dream, to the ribbon cutting and dedication. We also know the responsibility on your shoulders to get the job done. With that in mind, we’ve created processes, built relationships, and developed solutions so you can rest easy knowing your project is in the capable, experienced, and honest hands of Mosser.

Industry
Industry Experts. We balance technical expertise and grit to deliver projects on time and on budget, even during the most complex conditions.

People
We Own It. Many will say they own their work, but our people literally do. Mosser is 100% employee owned. Our clients work directly with the owners of Mosser. Our company is our people. Our success is our people.

Community
Community Partners. We align ourselves with people and opportunities that share our same mission and values, ultimately improving the social and economic welfare of our community. We choose to make a difference.
1948
Founded in 1948, Charles Mosser started the company from our home office in Fremont, Ohio.
1950s
Water Treatment facilities were among Mosser’s first projects in the 1950s. Across Ohio and Southeastern Michigan, our experts bid, manage, and incorporate our self-performed services including excavation, concrete, piping, general trades, and process equipment in these water treatment plants.
1960's
In 1966, Mosser continued to expand its expertise in the education system by serving as the general contractor for the Bowling Green State University Doyt Perry Stadium. We transformed a cornfield into this iconic facility that seats over 23,000 fans.
1970's
Do you remember all the excitement in 1978 surrounding the building of the world’s highest, fastest, double racing wooden roller coaster at Cedar Point? That was us! Piece by piece we assembled the Gemini to the thrill of thousands of kids and parents, who still today, scream and laugh on that iconic ride.
1980's
Our diversity is just one thing that sets us apart from others. As an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Program) company since 1985, our employees are motivated by their ownership of Mosser and are loyal to its goals, standards, safety, and quality.
1990's
Along with building new state-of-the-art facilities for clients, Mosser also takes pride in restoring the past. In 1999, Mosser restored the historic Valentine Theater in Maumee, Ohio, to its former glory by restoring and recreating the architectural details of this 1800's icon. This project received an AON Build America Award for being the “best of the best” renovation project in the United States.
2000's
In 2006, Mosser completed Rogers High School, which included a Construction Careers Academy. This school is comprised of 475,000 block reinforced with 180 tons of steel and 3,000 cubic yards grout and 155,000 brick units. Our self-performing services allowed us to employ our own masons to get the job done on time and budget.
2010's
As Mosser’s construction technology continues to evolve, so do our projects. Project complexities and market conditions create a fun and challenging environment for our expert builders. This decade was a busy time for our industrial and commercial group after landing a key role in building a Natural Gas Fired Power Generation Facility. Also in 2019, we completed the Cedar Point Indoor Sports Complex in record time by using a prefabricated exterior skin and our self-performing services.
Present
Today we remain true to the same principles on which our company was founded over 70 years ago: providing superior service to our clients, putting safety first, creating opportunities for our people, delivering exceptional work.
