Salary Range: $55,000-65,000

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position’s responsibilities relate primarily to processing payroll for multiple companies’ personnel including union, non-union and non-exempt employees, following compliance with applicable laws and policies.

Extensive Experience in the following areas:
- Construction Payroll Processing for multiple entities
- Experience with Union Reporting & Audits
- Experience with Federal/State/Local Tax Reporting
- Experience with Bureau of Workers' Compensation Reporting & Payments
- Garnishments, Levies and Child Support orders
- Working in an Integrated ERP Environment
- Processing Annual Employee Tax Forms
- Annual Financial Statement & Insurance Audits
Position Duties Include:
- Weekly Payroll Processing (Field, Office – All companies)
- Includes Review of Imported time, balancing and reporting
- Includes Federal/State/Local Tax reporting
- Review New Hire Tax setup (verify codes are correct).
- Truck rent/ Per Diem/ Travel processing.
- Expense Reimbursement Processing (as needed).
- Processes garnishments, levies and child support orders.
- Monthly & Quarterly tax withholding and reporting and account reconciliation
- Semi-annual Worker’s Compensation reporting / Worker’s Comp Annual True-up Reporting.
- Prepare Wage Reports for Workers Comp Claims, as needed.
- Schedule Workers’ Comp Premium Payments.
- Union Reporting/Audits.
- Monthly G/L Entry of Payroll ACH Payments
- Annual Census for ESOP
- Other Duties/Projects as requested by the Corporate Controller
MEASURABLE OUTCOMES OF THE PAYROLL SPECIALIST:
- Payroll Accuracy
- It is imperative that payrolls are processed with the utmost accuracy
- Metrics regarding timesheet submission are kept and updated weekly
- Payroll Timing
- Payrolls are due at different cut-off points
- 100% on time payroll submission is required
- Payroll Tax Filing
- 100% Timely and Accurate payroll related (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual) tax filings) required
- Payroll Reporting
- Timely & accurate creation and review of Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual reports required.
