Mosser Partners with Yarder Manufacturing, Sprouting an Exciting Vision for their Future Facility
On June 5, we celebrated the groundbreaking of the newly branded Legacy Business Park in Monclova Township. This event, hosted in partnership with Yarder Manufacturing, marks a major milestone for the area.
Unofficially known as “Project Sprout,” The Mosser team worked alongside Yarder and a variety of local and state agencies to develop the infrastructure for this 70-acre site. The scope of the project included a 1,200-foot extension of Riverfort Drive and utilities to service the entire site. This was a necessary and exciting big step toward building a new home for Yarder Manufacturing’s headquarters!
"The synergy we created will maximize opportunities for new businesses to join Yarder Manufacturing. We commend the Yarder family for their visionary partnership. Together, our strengths, resources, and expertise within public and private realms demonstrate what can be achieved through collaboration."
- Brian Geffe, PE, Mosser President and CEO
The infrastructure project was made possible by The Regional Growth Partnership, and two generous state grants from the Ohio Department of Development and the Ohio Department of Transportation. Monclova Township also contributed to the project to help offset costs of building the sanitary line to the site. Lucas County Transportation Improvement and the Lucas County Engineer administered the grants for the project.
