This gallery renovation project at the beautiful Toledo Museum of Art included a renovation of the Levis Gallery, the Asian Gallery, and an unfinished gallery.

The ceilings in the Levis and Asian Galleries utilize polycarbonate lay light systems to allow natural light into the galleries through the existing skylights in the roof above.

New track lighting fixtures were added in all three galleries along with new fire alarm devices hidden in Concealite boxes, again, so as not to detract from the artwork.

Seventy-one new security cameras were installed throughout the three galleries. The majority of these cameras provide object detection for security to see if a patron is too close to the artwork or even touching it. The remaining cameras are for general overall viewing of the spaces and have the capability to show the security team the faces of the patrons in the area at eye level.
