Mosser offers crane services to Veterans Park

The Sandusky County Veterans Memorial Park enhancements are almost complete. The park is located across from the Sandusky County Courthouse, in Fremont, Ohio. A block of Park Avenue was blocked off this morning to give one of Mosser’s cranes plenty of space to operate.

Mosser offered crane services, operated by Chris Smith, to place an eight foot, 18,000 lb granite monument in the park. The monument is a four-sided polished column with military-related etchings mounted onto each side. Donovan Peters and Matt Wolfe were present to ensure the installation went smoothly. Formerly known as Flag Park, the location is evolving into a space to honor and remember all local military veterans. Earlier this year, new stone archway with the new park name was installed. Next, landscaping will be completed around the granite monument. The park’s improvements will be officially unveiled in a Veterans Day ceremony in November.

Mosser is excited to be a part of such a “monumental” addition to not only the Veterans Memorial Park but the entire community. We hope our veterans can enjoy this space for years to come!
