Andy Boedeker
As Vice President, General Building Division, Andy Boedeker works closely with Mosser’s project managers, providing executive oversight on projects from start to finish. Starting at Mosser in 1987, Andy swept jobsites, worked as a laborer, and then co-op’d through college until he was hired full time as a field engineer. Eventually promoted to become one of Mosser’s most seasoned project managers, Andy worked on several notable projects in his career including the BGSU Hanna-Maurer Center/New College of Business, the Build Ohio Award-winning BGSU University Hall renovation, as well as the UT Savage Arena renovation project that also earned a Build Ohio Award. Now, after 35 years with Mosser, Andy says he is right where he wants to be—in a leadership position, sharing his knowledge and experience to not only help grow Mosser as a company, but also help its people grow to their fullest potential. Andy also enjoys his role as Vice President of the AGC of Northwest Ohio Executive Board of Trustees as well as serving on the Bricklayers and Pension Plan Committee.
In his spare time, Andy enjoys playing golf, working in the yard, and vacationing in northern Michigan with his wife of 20 years, Karen, and daughter, Summer, who he is proud to say will be attending The Ohio State University in the fall, majoring in Biology with a Pre-Med track. Andy also likes to unwind in the evenings with a good glass of wine, listening to blues or jazz on the patio with Karen.
Andy not only managed award-winning projects throughout his career, but his award-winning attitude can be seen in the way motivates and mentors others. Thank you, Andy for your years of hard work and mentoring the next generation of project managers!
