Mosser Co-Ops Awarded Several Scholarships
This year, three of Mosser’s co-ops received academic scholarships from Associated General Contractors of Ohio and one from Associated General Contractors of America. Mosser is very proud of all our co-op students and cannot wait to see the positive impact they make on our industry.
Madilyn Slingwine
Kevin X. Smith Memorial Scholarship
Madilyn is studying Construction Management at Bowling Green State University, on track to graduate in 2022. One of the many things she learned during her co-op was takeoff in BlueBeam. Her favorite part of her experience has been visiting project sites and watching the projects come to life.

Nathan Tornow
AGC of Northwest Ohio Scholarship
Nathan is currently studying Construction Management at Bowling Green State University. His favorite part of Mosser has been the people he works with, especially his mentors. Nathan worked Mosser’s Wood County Committee of Aging and Bowling Green State University Ice Arena projects.
Thor Morrison
AGC Build America Scholarship
Thor recently completed his third co-op rotation at Mosser. He is studying Construction Engineering Technology at the University of Toledo. His favorite project at Mosser is the AEP Lima project because he was involved since project kickoff and has enjoyed watching the process from the start.
Christian Smith
Robert H. Moyer Scholarship
In 2006, the AGC of Northwest Ohio funded a scholarship in honor of Robert Moyer in memoriam of his continued dedication to the construction industry and in honor of his AGC of Ohio Pinnacle Award for Lifetime Achievement. Applicants must be college sophomores or above pursuing a career in construction.
This year, Mosser President Brian Geffe presented the 2020 AGC of Northwest Ohio Robert H. Moyer Scholarship to Mosser’s own Christian Smith.
Christian is a senior at the University of Toledo majoring in Civil Engineering. He recently completed his co-op in our Highway Department.
